v.0.1.12 - Bugfixes and Improvements


Bugs fixed:

  • Fixed an error that was causing most status effects to not apply.
  • [Android] Fixed an error where quickly tapping on different shop items would cause one to be purchased accidentally.
  • [Android] Fixed an oversight in character creation where tapping the screen to close the keyboard would also close the text-input window.
  • [Android] Fixed an error where tapping a dialogue choice to confirm it (instead of using the Next button) would select a completely different choice.
  • [Android] Fixed an error in the shop UI that would sometimes allow the Next button to be used while a shop is open.
  • Fixed an error where the Attribute "Increase" and "Decrease" buttons could still be clicked when not visible.
  • Fixed an error where text outlines were cut off by 1 pixel on the right side of the screen.
  • Fixed a typo that was preventing the *secret* Abandoned Camp nightmare sequence from starting.
  • Fixed an error where loading a save in the Abandoned Camp would display a blank screen and prevent the Explore menu from opening.
  • Sometimes you could recruit a female wolf after losing to a male one. This is ridiculous and has been fixed (´°̥̥̥ω°̥̥̥`)

Changes made:

  • Introduced a Changelog message upon startup when a new version is played. A button was also added to the main menu.
  • New enemy in Fairn Woods: Mantis Nymph
  • Released a Linux version (.love).
  • Added background art for each area.
  • Added a new feature: History Log. It keeps track of the last few pages, so you can re-read anything you missed (or catch up after loading an old save file). Access it by clicking the book icon at the bottom of the game screen.
  • Duplicated all game data to the game's save folder. You can now view and edit any scene you want via the /custom/ folder. Updates will overwrite any edits you make to game files, but won't affect any new .txts you create.
  • Added Credits to the main menu.
  • Introduced a Version Update popup when playing from a different version.
  • Removed the load time when Exploring or Wandering. There is a new visual effect in its place.
  • [Android] Increased the size of buttons in all dropdowns and in the Explore menu.
  • The "Enter" key on numpads is now equivalent to "Enter" on the keyboard.
  • The game window is now freely resizable. Aspect ratio isn't maintained so keep in mind it could stretch in weird ways. 
  • Skill cooldowns no longer persist between battles.
  • Active skill cooldowns are now visible when selecting a skill in battle.
  • An annoying popup will now appear over the Stats Menu button if you have unused AP to spend.
  • The game now generates a crashlog inside the game folder when it encounters an error.
